Fully Flexible
Our flexible stone panels are super lightweight and can bend around corners or pillars. You will be astounded at how light stone can be.

Real Stone Texture
That's because our panels are real stone, they aren't mimicking it. A real stone veneer is peeled off of a stone slab to make these panels.

Use Them Anywhere
These flexible panels can be used indoors or outdoors. Use them in your office, around your pool or even on a storefront.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions about our flexible stone panels.
Can these be used as a kitchen splash back?
Yes, and they look stunning in a kitchen setting — the natural texture of stone adds real character to a splashback. However, there is an important consideration for the area directly behind a stovetop: cooking grease. The textured surface of the stone can trap grease over time, making it difficult to clean and potentially causing staining or degradation of the stone if left untreated.
For this reason, we strongly recommend installing a toughened (tempered) glass protective barrier (like this) between the stovetop and the stone panels. The glass sits flush in front of the stone, is completely easy to wipe clean, and still allows the beauty of the stone to show through behind it. The stone panels can then be used freely across the rest of the splashback area — above the rangehood, on side walls, and so on — where grease exposure is minimal.
Is this real stone? How can it be so thin?
Yes — these are 100% natural stone panels. Rather than cutting stone into slabs, a specialist peeling process is used to create ultra-thin sheets while preserving the authentic look and texture of the original stone. The result is genuine stone that is lightweight and flexible enough to work across a huge range of surfaces and projects.
What is the backing material made from?
The front face is 100% natural stone. The backing is made from fibreglass/polyester resin, which gives the panel its flexibility and strength while keeping the overall weight very low. The translucent range uses a clear acrylic backing that allows light to pass through beautifully.
How strong and durable are these panels despite being so thin?
Despite their slimness, the panels are tough, waterproof, and impact-resistant. Laboratory testing indicates a lifespan in excess of 40 years. They are resistant to moisture, staining (once sealed), and general wear and tear, making them a reliable long-term investment for both residential and commercial projects.
Will the colour fade over time?
Because the panels are 100% natural stone, significant fading is not expected. There may be very minor, barely noticeable colour shifts over many years due to UV oxidation, this is a natural characteristic of stone and will not affect the overall appearance of your installation.
How thick are the panels?
Panel thickness ranges from approximately 1 mm to 4 mm depending on the product range. This ultra-slim profile is one of the defining features of flexible stone panels, allowing them to be used in situations where traditional stone would be impractical.
How much do the panels weigh?
Our panels (120cm x 60cm) weigh approximately 3–5 kg. This makes them easy to handle and transport without needing specialised lifting equipment.
What surfaces can the panels be installed on?
The panels can be installed on a wide variety of substrates including:
- Plasterboard (drywall/gyprock)
- Plywood and MDF
- Cement board
- Concrete and brick
- Metal
- Existing tiles, glass, and painted surfaces
- Kitchen splashbacks
The surface must be clean, dry, and free of dust or grease to ensure proper adhesion.
How do I cut the panels?
The panels are easy to cut using standard tools. A circular saw or track saw fitted with a fine-toothed blade is recommended for clean, straight cuts. Some thinner panels can also be cut with tin snips, and all panels are suitable for laser cutting for artistic or custom-shaped applications.
Are the panels suitable for outdoor use?
Yes. The panels have been tested for outdoor use and are weather-resistant and dimensionally stable — they will not stretch or warp due to temperature changes, moisture, or UV exposure. They are suitable for use as exterior building facades, cladding, and retaining walls. We do recommend finishing with a stone sealant when using outdoors.
Can the panels be used in wet areas like bathrooms and shower recesses?
The panels are waterproof and well-suited to wet areas including shower recesses, bathroom walls, and around baths. The only issue is soap scum build up and since the panels are made from real, rough stone can be tricky to clean. We recommend applying a quality sealant over the stone surface for maximum, long-term protection in these environments. Also consider using our purpose made bathroom wall panels for a shower area instead.
Can the panels be applied to curved walls and columns?
Yes — this is one of the standout features of flexible stone panels. They can be curved around cylindrical surfaces with a minimum radius of approximately 25 cm, making them ideal for columns, curved feature walls, and other organic architectural forms.
Can they be used for kitchen benchtops of furniture?
Due to the raw, textured surface, flexible stone panels are generally not recommended for kitchen benchtop preparation areas. However, they work beautifully on bar tops that aren't used for food prep, and are an excellent choice for furniture and cabinetry — adding a distinctive natural stone appearance to wardrobes, shelving, TV units, and more.
