Waterproofing: they are part of a "waterproofing system" according to the NCC. They must be used in conjunction with a waterproof substrate (ex. waterproof membrane). If you are placing over existing tiles you most likely already have this in place.

Unexpected shower upgrade due to shower leaking. I came across wall panels and decided to take a chance. I ordered sight unseen. . I took a big gamble but l am rapt with how my ensuite has come up. They look fantastic, no grout which was a big plus from me. The wall panels behind the sink went over existing tiles. My handyman had installed some previously, but a different brand and he said this brand was way easier to install and easier to work with. Can't comment on longevity yet, but really happy so far. Great customer service too, quick replies and emails to see if items had arrived and an email to see how install went. I put in a before photo too.

Can Apply Over Most Surfaces
You can apply the panels directly over tiles, plasterboard, cement and many other surfaces. As long as there's enough surfaces area to stick to, the panels will stay put.

Can you use the wall panels on the floor?
No, we do not recommend using the panels on the floor. With the cavity design of the panels, if they are constantly stepped on it can affect the integrity of the panels.
Can I use the panels as kitchen splashbacks?
Yes, you can as long as you may need to install a protective barrier. If you are using them behind a cooktop where they are exposed to constant temperatures exceeding 60°C they can discolour and warp over time. We recommend installing a glass or stainless steel barrier behind your cooktops to protect the panels and prevent this from happening.
Where can I install bathroom wall panels?
You can install the panels anywhere in the house so long as there is a wall you can adhere them to! That being said, most people install them in their bathrooms, either just in the shower area or throughout the entire bathroom and in laundries.
What to do when wall height exceeds panel height?
If your walls are over 2400mm, then you can take a look at our pro panel range, as they come in 2800mm height options. If they are still not high enough or you want one of the designs only found in our standard panels, you can also leave a small gap in between the panels and apply a neat bead in the gap with sealant, which will give a sleek watertight seal between the panels.
Do I need trims for the edges of the panels?
Yes, if the edges of the panels are exposed then you will need end caps to provide a neat finish and to prevent any dirt or water from getting inside the panels from the ends. If the panels are finished by butting up against something, then you do not need to install end caps if you choose and can just use a sealant bead to neatly finish the gap.
How can you create a shower niche?
By using our external corner trims, you can create a matching shower niche with the panels.
What is the difference between the invisible internal corner and the standard internal corner?
The invisible internal corner is an F-shaped trim that is not seen except for a sealant bead on the inside of the joint. This compares to the standard internal trim which is W shaped and allows for the panels to be slotted into the returns and a visible 10mm concave corner trim is seen between the panels. The returns on the standard internal trim allow for more play if your walls are not plumb.
