Our smoked oak wall panel is perfect for adding a sleek, modern, and natural look to any residential or commercial space. You can add smoked oak wood panels to walls or ceilings to add three-dimensional drama and visual interest. As well as looking great, these wooden slat panels also feature sound absorbing backing that reduces reverberation and excessive background noise to create a quieter, more relaxing space.

You can install these panels vertically or horizontally. They are easy to install and are perfect for a DIY project. All you need is basic DIY skills and some common tools found in most home and office environments.

Bit of a challenge with various tv cables and power points, but easy enough if you’re very confident about your DIY skills. Just take your time, check and double check with the spirit level, buy one more tube of liquid nails than you think you will need, and measure twice before you cut!

Amazing Wall Panels!!

I've just finished installing the oak wood wall panels on my 6m high wall. These wall panels are high quality product and also they are very easy to install. All I need were liquid nail as adhesive and some small black screws and my mate to help support the panel while I'm putting it on the wall.
At the beginning it took me about an hour to assemble the scaffolding, but once that was done, the rest was easy.
The wall panels really look amazing, it transform my boring wall to an attractive feature wall. Thank you for making such a fine product.

Quality product

Quality product. Communication was very good. Product arrived on time and well packaged. I’m no handyman and followed the installation instructions and went pretty smooth. Masking tape the cut lines and use a 60+ tooth circular saw blade for very minimal chips. I mounted mine on top of the skirting board the plus is I didn’t need half the recommended construction adhesive and the panels stuck fast without bracing at all. My walls and cornice weren’t completely square, but I was able to compensate with thin cuts of the black felt where required. Pleased with the finish.

How do you cut acoustic wood panels?

A circular saw is the best way to cut the wood panels. You just need to make sure you use a fine-tooth blade (60 teeth per blade or more). These can sometimes be known as finishing blades or crosscut blades.

How do you make cut outs for power points and other fittings?

You can easily make cut outs in the panels with the right tools. Either a multitool or jigsaw can easily make internal cuts in the panels.

Can I hang a TV using a TV bracket on the panels?

We recommend installing the TV bracket first so that you can anchor it to the studs or wall behind. Then cut the panels to fit around the bracket.

Can they be installed on the ceiling?

Yes they can. We recommend installing with screws rather than adhesive if you are installing them on the ceiling. They should also be installed perpendicular to the ceiling joists to prevent sagging of the felt.

How do they finish on a corner?

You do not need to add anything for the panels at a corner. With the finish on them they also look great from the edges.

Should I use screws or adhesive to attach them to the wall?

You can use either screws or adhesive for acoustic wood panels. Screws provide a strong attachment and allow for easier removal later if needed, but will be visible. Adhesive creates a permanent finish with no visible fasteners. It can also provide security right up to the edges of the panels. For maximum security, especially on ceilings or large wall areas, a combination of both works best.

Can I install them outside?

Unfortunately not. The wood is not treated for external use. The acoustic felt backing can also deteriorate when exposed to external elements and is not a weather resistant material.
